I started out with the trx-kit, and then tweaked to parameters until I was satisfied with the sound. -------- also i did, but its far from perfect... If you can't do it with the available machines and tweaking their parameters, then the only thing left is to give up. And buy a real 808! :) ------- thats not clever, the novation drumstation has far less CPU Power than the Elektron MD and can simulate and 808/909, so i dont see any reason why theres no possibilty to build a custom machine with the knobs of an 808 besides the great people at Elektron have other things in mind....
