Totally agree!
Technically, adding the feature for playing the three oscillatorsin
the SID-chip independently via midi shouldn't be that hard. User
interface is totally another thing. How should users interact with the
new functionality?
How is that functionality to be added into the existing OS? Is there
enough free memory to fit in everything? Should there be another
totally different set if patches for the tripple midi control mode?
Editing those patches? Do we have to remove 50 of the existing patches
to make room for the new patches?
So, please, give some thought to the amount of work that it takes to
develop some new functionality for something that already exists, then
think some more on how much work it is to come up with a new
product...
