Interface, a Dutch electronic audio/music magazine (www.interface.nl),
reviewed Live last month. The review was done by Stefan Robbers,
coincidently one of the Acid Junkies :)

Try the demo, it gives you a good idea of the program. Once I played with
the demo a bit, I couldn't wait to order it (online, direct from Ableton's
website, arrived within a week).
I run it on OSX, on which Live tends to be very stable, albeit somewhat
buggy at times (I've had it crash on certain .WAV files for no apparent
reason).

I'm not an MPC2000 man myself, but using Live is eerily easy to learn :)
