I've been building songs in the MD. Now I want to record those songs into Cubase, having the MD act as the clock master. That way I can go back and do all my knob tweaks via midi and be able to edit them graphically from the computer. So far so good as I got Cubase to slave nicely and have gotten sequences into Cubase with no problem. But it appears that I've lost the "swing" in my sequences; Cubase seems to play back the sequence straight up with no swing. Does anyone understand how the "swing" transmits over MIDI? I assume that it should be a slight variation in tempo and that those tempo changes should record in the sequence. Do I need to need to do something in the Cubase Mastertrack to make this work? any thoughts? Anthony J.
