I had problems with faulty sysex data, but never fully corrupt, and it
wasn't the MD's fault, I had to change the buffer settings in midiOX and it
was fine

thanks for the input, wish i would have thought of this
beforehand........... I am going to send it back to them next week....i've
had problems since day one, but they have been so sporadic and random, i
never payed them much attention but the last two have happened at the two
worst possible times, and i had to give up on the best thing i have ever
written this week from this last crash, i just dont understand how sysex
info could be corrupted from a buggy machine rather than an os problem, but
if it works for others it's obviously my machine, because it's done it since
day one, same sort of problems as 1.09 had with efm kits at first, for those
who encountered that..........sadness
