"Yow ppl.. How many sounds does the Machindrum provide? " -more than you can handle, because the possibilitys of modification are great. "Can it be used as a 'Drumbank'-like gear.. you know,. connecting it to cakewalk, C#1 = drum D#1 = snare, etc?" -of course. You can also trigger whole patterns like a drumloop. "I have heard many cool rithms made with it, but Im not convinced that this piece of gear is worth 1350 euro's. " -it is. I'm especially looking for some good SNAP snares, and i'm unsatisfied with the demos i've heared. - with a little programming everything is possible. Basically "programming" is not the right word, because it is more "playing". The whole setup of the machine is very intuitive and it takes not much to make it really groove. I like especially that you can tune every Sound to the harmony of the song. Well you can use samples for drums, but you will never have this kind of harmonic connection between drums and music. Flo
