I really do not rhink so. If you don't go up to ridiculous voltages the SID-chip should live on. We haven't managed to destroy any SID-chip this way so far. And this is the time to take chances since we still have SID-chips for spare parts in stock. :) ...we are almost ready with a full alternative patchbank - focusing on noise, lofi, computer bleeps and rythmic tables.
