portside waves...

portside waves...

hello!
im using the external audioinput to rout the output signal throuh my mixer
back in the sidstation. the result is a feedback which with you can create
some dope filtered tweakin sounds and more. what do you think about that:
can i destroy something at my swedish friend???
i realy dont want to hurt him!!!
but ts my mission to create some ill sounds and i hope you dont hate me
about that feedback-thing. besides that i love the sidstation
and its features and sound.
just a note of one of my patches:
UPLOADER 0.001
turn on all osc. set the env of osc 1&2: dec0, sust0.
osc 3 waveform should be tri
sync function on at all 3 osc. maybee ringmod, too.
than use the arp: set arp1 to 6
                      arp2 to 18
                      arp3 to 12
than its up to you to continue. you can use addionally the table func.
or vib.[sqr] with a suitable speedvale(3,6,9,12,18,24...ormaybeenot;]) to
create a total pitchy massacre.
youll receive some UPLOADING arp sounds!ok....
by the way i love the hole situation here and there are some very
good people around this place. shouts to all of you - especially to
NOISE foundation -. so long: have fun and much wobblepudding;-)

a great! :)

hrm .. not sure if it's bad or not. It's more about voltage i think, not
volume..
although keep those signals at line level. I've thought about using a few
things through it, but wondered if a headphone out with its pre-amp would
hurt the SID ... is it safe?

EHahah .. EVIL SOUNDS ROCK! .. and the SID does some mighty dark, evil
zounds! :)
(bring em on --- ohh try out some nice long delays and an external filter!)

hey thanks for the programming tips.. i'll make this one tonight :)
and people i think we should all share, after all if someone can't program
the sidstation already then they're hardly going to understand your patch
instructions ;)

I really do not rhink so. If you don't go up to ridiculous voltages the
SID-chip should live on. We haven't managed to destroy any SID-chip this
way so far.

And this is the time to take chances since we still have SID-chips for
spare parts in stock. :)

...we are almost ready with a full alternative patchbank - focusing on
noise, lofi, computer bleeps and rythmic tables. It will be released at
the totally redesigned SidStation site in about a month I hope.

See you all!
