Re: [elektron] OK... Help to make a choice between Rack Attack and MachineDrum

Yeah the Microq also has drum maps. ALthough i havent tried to
program drum sounds with it yet, the presets show its capabilaties ie
good. I prefer the microq over the Rack Attack for its more broad
usage, it is wicked. Back to the Machinedrum, it is versatile, though
not as broad as the Rackattack when it comes to programming sounds.
You cant fail to make drum sounds with the Machinedrum, though you
can of course make some really ill sounds. As everyone else has said,
the Machinedrum is a synch to program patterns. Expensive but good.
If you want a bargain all round synth go for the Micro Q lite Bundle,
you gate a free upgrade to a proper micro Q (more voices, reverb and
surround delay) Had mine for a week and love it, much prefer it to my
Nord 3. Cant wait to shackle it to the Machine drum, thought I could
have them both feeding their ins and out to each other for some mad
sounds. Unfortunately Machinedrum has to go in for a service as its
fucked at the moment, no fault of mine.
