I got an mpc2k. There is no velocity on the md so the pads don't really matter. But you can trigger all the md tracks. The mpc can accept more than four channels. But you have to program the mpc so you can trigger the md with the 16 pads on the same level. The mpc has four levels of pads right? I think if you pressed "open window" while highlighting the track on the mpc will give you a window where you can determine the midi recieve. I think the default is 'all'? But using the md on the mpc you lose the extended mode's important parameter lock function. I would just clock external to the mpc and use the mpc for your samples. Or better yet sample your md loops and load it on the mpc. What mpc are you getting? 60, 60II, 3000, 2000, 2000xl, "the one and only powerhouse beat sampler" 4000(@3000$)? --- In elektron-users@y..., "falabala66" <Falabala66@a...> wrote: > Hello humans..... > I'm using a machinedrum right now on it's own, but am soon to > be aquiring an akai MPC, from which I'll sequence the MD. > What I'm wondering is how well the MD functions in this regard. > First off, how does it react to velocity?
