i think that the most important thing for a dj to do is engage the crowd.
there are plenty of big named dj's that can't beat match to save there
life's(though most can, for the most part), but i think in a "party
atmosphere" most people don't really care if the mixing sucks just as long
as
the" vibe's"  there. now listening to something  on a cd or mp3 is complete
different because your not in the atmosphere of the party, your just sitting
around in front of a computer(more than likely for these mp3's), where your
paying attention more to the music then the girls/beer/drugs/whatever.

also splank your live pa is great!!! i have listened to it about 5 times
now.
wish i could have seen it live:(... (i live in the us)
