Dumping either the complete SysEx or Midi Patches in one go
without any Tweaking worked flawlessly with every SysEx/MidiDumper
I tried on my ATARI-ST (and I'm running 144 Midi-Out Channels
and 48 Midi-In Channels on it)
So I fear you're having some different kind of Problem in your
Midi-Setup (?!) Perhaps a Midi-Divice in the Midi-Chain filtering
some SysEx or not being able to cope with the Amount/Speed of the SysEx-Data?

Perhaps try to directly connect your SidStation to Midi In/Out
of your computer with nothing inbetween. If this won't work,
you've possibly a defective Midi Interface, Cable or Sidstation.
