Use a program called SysEx 4.7.0: http://members.cox.net/sgrace9/sysex/ It's great! Logic deals with standard MIDI files, not raw sysex (as far as I know). If you try recording your sysex messages with Logic, you'll get a ".mid" file, not a ".syx" file. You can use SysEx 4.7.0 to transfer patches into your Machinedrum as well. Transfering patches and backing up data is what SysEx 4.7.0 was designed for. P.S. If you're running OS X, use this program: http://www.snoize.com/SysExLibrarian/ Andrew --- In elektron-users@yahoogroups.com, "Robert Kaczmarczyk < rob.euroh1@v...>" <rob.euroh1@v...> wrote: > Happy New year people. > > I'm running Logic 4.7 on Mac and am wondering how once I've downloaded > the kits from the sysex section of this site onto my mac, how to get > them into my MD?
