Elektron Musical Instruments

I just received my Machinedrum today, plugged it in, the lights 
flashed and it went dead.  My paperwork shows I ordered the correct 
US power supply, has anyone had this happen?  Talk about being 
disappointed, you get your new toy and it doesn't work.  I emailed 
Elektron, but it will probably be tomorrow before they repond. :(
