I guess I do not understand what you are asking, based on your last paragraph. The MD uses 4 MIDI channels total for all parts... if you set it to, say, 1-4, then you may set other devices to 5-16 and have no problems. If this has not answered your question, please ask again with more detail as to what you wish to achieve...I am not sure I fully understood you. cheers, aeon
