Re: [elektron] Monomachine - what's all the fuss about?

2003-04-18 by Daniel Ornelas

Ok.

First off, if you've used a machinedrum, you understand that it's user
interface is quite unique: its fun to use, inspires you to be creative
and delivers excellent results. Its "Machines" approach gives you a
refreshing selection of sounds and methods for which to create them.

Take all of that into account and make it a polyphonic synthesizer,
with 6 independent delay channels, and synthesis types not represented
in current synths and you have your answer. Not to mention they are
super sexy and ooze quality design.

In short, Elektron's track record is kick ass and judging by the ideas
and results of the current gear, is already more than what's currently
out there.

Now all Elektron has to do is give me one for kissing this much ass!
