Man, i'm currently thinking of getting a MD but all these emails about hardware problems, 4 weeks waiting for repairs, import charges... that's a huge HUGE turn off. I mean damn, they got 2 products with big big price, can't they make reliable quailty products. And i was thinking the same thing about the warranty. What happens if your MD brakes after the warranty expires... You have to ship it to Sweden, pay for international shipping and wait 4-6 weeks ? The MD Idea is great but i'm scared for the rest... on 18/04/03 9:58 AM, schmackofanz at digitalaudiodesign@... wrote: That sounds like you have a serious problem. My adapter doesnt make any noise and the strange behaviour that you experience is definetly not normal. You should contact Elektron and get it repaired. But be prepared to wait around 4 weeks, because that seems to be the normal retruen time for them. I am still waiting for my brandnew MD that died after a 6 days (went off with a buzz) Has been at Elektron for 2 weeks now ! Support is pretty desastrous to say the least. One guy is doing all the repairs and he is only in 2 days a week! At least they cover the shipping. I just wonder what happens when the warranty runs out! best Hans -- In elektron-users@yahoogroups.com, sinus <electroschroeder@g...> wrote: > hey > i f anyone can help me it will be really great.... > > 1. the elecricity adapter is really loud and sounds like an insect is it > normal ? > > 2. i tried to upload the new os and it alweays failed i made it with logic > and a mac in the end i tried it with 40 bpm and it works but than the file > was to short! > > 3. it seems really strange because the machinedrum after i worked on it and > saved my onwn stuff it is totally spinning arounf it stops in the middle of > the patterns and than after after each led is going on and stays on no sound > is comming out anymore ? > > > if anyone can held me that will be really great... > stefan Yahoo!
