I'd like to know how you use the Md with software sequencers like Logic:

do you use it like a sound module?
do you sync the MD sequencer to midi clock from the computer?
do you record a pattern in audio and then arrange your songs within the 
computer?

I want to find the best way to use the MD in my studio; I love creating 
patterns on the MD, so I won't use it only as a sound module; I'd also 
like to introduce sound variations within the song and not only within 
patterns with parameter locks.
Is there a way to achieve this with Logic?

Is it better to use the song mode in the MD, or trigger patterns from 
Logic?
With song mode, I can program mutes; can I do that in Logic too?
