I agree 100 %. these two beasts (MD + Evolver) were
made to mate ;)

it's even more fun now that I've figured out a trick
to change the melody played by Evolver's sequencer in
real-time :O

that said, I am going to get a Pulse as well. reason:
the Evolver excels at so many things that I rarely end
up using it for bass, so I want another monosynth to
cover the basses ;)

Pulse does have a pretty extensive mod matrix as well,
and it has a  randomize function, so it should be
useful for other applications as well ;)

the verdict? when in doubt, get both! ;)
