Yep, same way of working.
I will use cubase5 for midi sequencing with
LIVE for audio. Too bad Live can't midi seq.

I tend to work in a similar way with Logic, but I do *some* midi
sequencing, so that and the lack of VSTi support in Ableton keeps me from
using it as my main software.

I keep it running on one of my auxilliary PCs sync'ed to my main one
running logic, and that works quite well.
