You can control velocity but it's not like an Akai pad.  The sequencer
requires alot of programming with a very simple user interface.  It's
not easy but you need patience to program it that way.  The basic fact
is you can't record velocity and volume in real time.  At least that's
what I know...  I wish there was more realtime recording.  (My only
peave.)
