I have both, and I would not sell one of them. The Jomox is *superior* in those low, full, analog bassdrums, no question about it, the unique snare sounds are harder to get from the Xbase comparing with the MD but they are there too. Machinedrum wins it in polyphony, other sounds (I would say it is strong in the more *electronic* sounds) userinterface etc. They live happily together in my setup. My two percent.
