I'll second the vote on the Roland S760. Yeah, it's 6-9 years old now, yeah, it's only 32mb max, but it's likely to hold the sampling crown for me forever. If there ever were a sampler to hold a place in electronic music history the same way the DX7 or the like, this would be it.
