thanks to everyone who replied in my previous post.
i have some more questions though:

.when playing back a pattern, can you simultaneously trigger 
additional notes from an external sequencer or midi keyboard?

.does the MD receive program change for selecting kits?
 do the kits load instantly or do you wait for some time?

.on startup, is the MD as it was when shut down?(global setup, and 
the kit last used, or do you have to load a kit each time you 
startup?)

.when triggering patterns via midi notes, does the MD respond 
instantly? (like triggering a sample)or do you have latency?

.does it sync to MTC? or only midi clocks ?

.are the lfo 's fast enough to be used on very short percussion 
sounds? or are they useable only on sounds with a big decay?
