Yes. But kit settings are as last saved.(i think...) Save a lot, that's the key. When you accidently change pattern with a different kit youre changes are lost forever! I tried it and i got double first notes when triggering the same pattern at the beginning of a measure. The parameter locks are very powerfull!!! Just buy it, after some time you'll be hooked. I know some people who sold their MD after some time just because they didn't spend enough time exploring the true power of this machine. Grtz. Ronald.
