None of those questions address the arguments put forth by Marc S.
Davis and Behn Humphry, both of whom seem to feel that keyboards
aren't used by electronic musicians. Playing live does not make one
a keyboard player. Nor does playing a keyboard well. Being a
keyboard player simply means that, at some point in your studio
process, you play a keyboard. I personally compose all of my
melodies into the sequencer from the keyboard. That doesn't make me
a "keyboardist" (which would be similar to a guitarist), but it
certainly makes me a keyboard player. And when you play your
keyboard, the 2% of the time that you do, you're a keyboard player
too.
