Davis and Behn Humphry, both of whom seem to feel that keyboards aren't used by electronic musicians. Playing live does not make one a keyboard player. Nor does playing a keyboard well. Being a keyboard player simply means that, at some point in your studio process, you play a keyboard. I personally compose all of my melodies into the sequencer from the keyboard. That doesn't make me a "keyboardist" (which would be similar to a guitarist), but it certainly makes me a keyboard player. And when you play your keyboard, the 2% of the time that you do, you're a keyboard player too.
