Hi, well really theres no comparison, you could say the same for any piece of gear. Just read previous threads where peolpe have enquired. The Machinedrum is quite unique, can creat great sounds and has a hands on approach but costs quite a bit. Fruity is also great, can sequence synths and samples but only runs on Windows. I have heard of problems midi sync out in Fruity. IMO Machinedrum sounds are far better than any softsynth out there, plus its got knobs!! --- In elektron-users@yahoogroups.com, "Col Dee" <coldee@m...> wrote: > People keep talking about how good the Machinedrum's sequencer is, > and how the onboard effects give a distinctive sheen to its sounds. > > How does Fruityloops, the program, compare to the Machinedrum in > terms of usability, expressiveness and functions etc...? > > I ask because I use Fruityloops a lot and I'm wondering if there > would be any point in buying a Machinedrum.
