Re: [elektron] save save save!!!!!!!

2003-09-04 by vampyrecat13

im still somewhat of a newb though i abhore that word. maybe i lost
the tweaks cause i changed patterns? i don't know. no. of course i
wasnt running the real time record button for hours! i was turning
the knobs creating different sounds, then assigning(recording-
whatever) them to steps. by exit record mode i assume you mean
pressing the red record button? not the exit no button? just making
sure im not missing something. i have to save my new sounds and also
copy and paste the sequence(pattern- step assignment)? its the
getting around i'm still a little fuzzy on. could you explain, theres
kits-which i assume are the sounds and patterns which to me are the
sequences or the 16/32 steps that play when turned on. but if ive
loaded a kit via the load kit menu then choose say pattern A 4 and,
my kit doesnt play back a different kit with the A 4 i loaded plays.
so thers really two ways to load kits? via the load menu and via
pattern selection? as far as the plug that was my fault. as i said my
keyboard knocked it out. i was only posting cause i thought people
could sypathize with losing hours of work. otherwise i love
machinedrum. thanks for your reply, susan --- In elektron-
