I guess you could alter the tempo while you're at it. Yes, it acts like a sampler triggering a loop. Tempo works well - no latency issues with MD and Logic. Sometimes a pattern gets triggered twice on start: that's because the MD internal sequencer isn't in "stop" or something else. Anyway pressing play and then stop fixes this. I bet you can alter the tempo if you slave the MD and make tempo variations in Logic. Now, I'd really like to see this simple feature implemented in the next MD os update: - muting should be available (and send data) via midi! This is the only drawback in my setup (MD synced to Logic): I have to create a new pattern if I want to mute a track - muting can't be recorded in the external sequencer. Does anyone else need this?
