1. I know the MD is now pretty much a set and stable feature-set, so I'm reluctant to ask; but the one thing that would make me whip out my credit card right this second, the one thing that is my dream feature on this machine would be... an FM Pitched Woodblock machine. I just love those classic DX woodblock sounds and always use them in my beats. So if the MD could do them, I would be in drum-programming heaven. Possible? Not? Who else would like this, or am I just a lone voice in the wilderness? 2. As I see it, the MonoMachine is directly (okay, not so directly - but more or less) competing with synths like the Virus. One of those machines' biggest strengths is their huge and varied patch libraries. I for one would love to see a similar range and variety available on the Mono. It occurred to me that the most practical way of a developing a huge preset patch library for the machine would be users... the First 100 to be precise. Once the kits are closer to their final sound, Elektron could invite all of the first 100 to submit their 10 best patches; of these, the best 256 or 512 or however many would be chosen to ship with the Mono or be downloadable from the website; this would definitely reward the first 100 personally but moreover would generate a fantastic preset bank and be a great incentive to future purchasers. What do you all think? Let us know. Angus. _________________________________________________________________ Get less junk mail with ninemsn Premium.
