But if you have your MD machines all over the place in different kits and you are in extended mode you have to do a lot of saving of your kit or you would lose your new settings every time you switched pattern to select a machine to copy. Not as much of a problem with the MD that has a somewhat limited type of sound and guides you to put specific types of sounds on specific tracks (bass drum on the BD track), but with the MnM you could have patches spread across six tracks and not in any type of order. I suppose an individual patch storage is not really worth discussing since it probably won't happen anyways :-) cheers JK ----- Original Message ----- From: "Roonan" <info@...> To: <elektron-users@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Thursday, September 25, 2003 9:08 AM Subject: Re: [elektron] MachineDrum/MonoMachine feature poll? > --- In elektron-users@yahoogroups.com, "ripe" <ripe-list7147@m...> > wrote: > > nice to actually have a way store individual patches that could be > loaded > > from the kit edit page. > > But you can copy tracks, (at least when it's working, not working yet) > with the tracks you also copy the machine and it's settings. > Clear the track and you're done. > > Only downside is that you cannot flip through the patches until you > find the right one.
