I don't know about other comparable snths out there, but the Nord Leads,
for example, allow you to save a bank of patches as a performance.  And
to me, when you're dealing with a multitimbral synth, this is very
helpful.  Otherwise, you'd have to correctly align the patches in all
the banks in order to take advantage of its multitimbrality.
