One thing keeps me bugging ;-) The output levels of the MM tracks seem a bit soft compared to the machine drum. The only way to crank it up is using distortion or high resonance and then it's way up if you know what I mean. On the MD the influence of distortion on the volume is far less. Adjusting overall track volume + volume in the amp section to max can't give me the same output as the MD, it's at least 10db difference! Is this as designed? Or is it due to the dynamix processor on the MD. (or the lack of it on the MM) It seems to me that the full dynamic potential of the output stage of the MM is not used, unless you use a lot of distortion or extreme resonance. Ronald.
