But I think in effect this would be the same thing as adding a timing parameter. Because after you add the amp-envelope delay you probably want to delay the filter and the lfo-trig as well. And then you don't want to cut off the end of the note currently playing, so you would need to delay everything that affects the note to be played (like locks etc), which is exactly the timing parameter that was first discussed adn that we would have a very hard time doing.
