Can't you do this already (amp delay) with the delay machine? I can't remember how much fine control you have over the timing of the delay EFX (I'm not by the MD). You could use parameter locks to alter the send and mix of a MD step to the delay EFX machine, the only limiting thing would be that you only have one delay EFX, so each track would have to share it. But you could in effect delay a single step by a small amount (no feedback, 100% wet delay mix). Just thinking out loud. ripe -----Original Message----- From: Roonan [mailto:info@...] Sent: Thursday, October 09, 2003 7:55 AM To: elektron-users@yahoogroups.com Subject: [elektron] Re: [Daniel] Timing offset for MM and MD --- In elektron-users@yahoogroups.com, "daniel_elektron" <daniel@e...> wrote: > --- In elektron-users@yahoogroups.com, "Roonan" <info@r...> wrote: you > don't want to cut off the end of the note currently playing, so you > would need to delay everything that affects the note to be played > (like locks etc), which is exactly the timing parameter that was first > discussed adn that we would have a very hard time doing. Of course, you are right about that, didn't think of that. Well, that's the reason you're a developer and I'm just a user ;-) Thanx anyway for your time, Ronald. Your use of Yahoo!
