Hi, This was also posted with feature-suugestion form. It could be really usefull to be able to name the cc's which are in available in midi-seq. Then you could map them to very differently in different tracks and still be able to control the situation as you would not have to remember them all always. Like I would put cc1 to cut-off of sampler patch (would be named cuttoff by me) and cc2 to weird granular vst-effect (would be named grnlvl by me). Then I could go to another track and make some unique cc's mappings as well. This way when I come back to track one I'm able to understand which knob does what. Now I've made decision not to even try it. Also the cc's could be defianable wrom kit menu (I mean both the names and cc- numbers for each kit). This way you could define them more freely and not to go to global menu each time you want to try something other than for example Native Instruments software (which have excellent way of defining any cc to any value. In many situations (software) this is not so). And at the same time I must mention that MD could use this also. Now it's not done very usefull and sacrifices too many knobs. If it would be done like MnM we would have a lot more cc's available more handy. So I think MnM even now (only four, could be increased!) has better cc's than MD (no hassle with cc-chooser knob). Toni.
