Elektron Musical Instruments

I am still trying to decide on getting one of the beta MM's, I guess 
I was wondering what users so far have found to be the best features 
about it and what special things or sounds that set it apart from 
other synths.  I have a decent VA synth (novation k-station), which I 
am happy with and a couple other sound modules.  Any comments would 
be appreciated.

Also... I am not a computer expert by any means and was wondering how 
difficult it is to update the OS once it is released?  I basically 
use the computer for email (and yahoo groups!) so can someone like me 
accomplish this fairly easily?  Thanks very much!  -Scott
