I've been doing some researching as well. I switched a lot of stuff off, but
it just doesn't help. Strangely enough, it's just one of the 2 main outputs
that clicks now and then... Is that the same in your case?

It's probably a heating element somewhere in your neighborhood being
switched on/off. A cheap spike protector haven't helped me in similar
situations, maybe a UPS or a bigger spike protector solves the problem.
Try the machine at a friends place, it'll probably sound fine there.
Additionally try turning off every on/off device like fridge, water
heater and so on.
