The difference is basically just the appearance. There's also a new set of patches onboard, but you can download them from the web site. Also, the Ninja is limited to 50 copies. >Any differences between older models of the Station and newer ones? There's different OS versions, but you can always download the latest version from the web site. >Are there any PC based editing environments to make editing the Station >(especially the tables) a little easier. Hopefully someone else on the list can fill in the blanks for you. >Saw a couple posts somewhere that a X0X step sequencer might be worked into >the OS. Any truth to that or is it just pure speculation/wishful thinking. I dunno about this, but there are 16 step sequencers out there. I know there's a few for PC, and there's also hardware ones by MAM and Doepfer. I bought the MAM SQ16 and it's really cool, except right now, it resets my SidStation when I hook them directly together. But, the guys at MAM are helping me out with this problem, and hopefully it'll be resolved soon. >By the way, in case it matters, I've got a Virus KB and an Electribe EA1 that >would be sharing duties w/ the SID. I have an Electribe ER1 ... it kicks! Great for freaky sounds, and you gotta love the 16 step sequencing :) 8bit - Shawn Mativetsky http://www.noisemusic.org http://www.mp3.com/8bit
