I hope it comes out soon.  He mentioned in here that the next update
would void all existing patterns/songs, due to internal structural
changes.  So I've been kind of avoiding writing anything with the Mono
since then, which sucks.

I sure hope so.  But my advice for using the MM with the MD (for now)
is to place the MD above the MM, with the function button directly
above the MM's track buttons.  That way, at least you can mute/unmute
MD and MM tracks simultaneously.
