Sid goes haywire when my power lead is accidently moved.....

2000-09-11 by ishq x

Hi to all on the list,

I just got hold of a secondhand sidstation (feel
a bit cheap saying that!) Very cool and totally creative synth...I have
found however that when i
accidently move the power lead whilst in patch/edit mode it switches the
unit on and off
possibly in rapid succession.this in turn causes the unit to lock or
specifically i cant access the patch mode..i can access the system mode
luckily. i have to do a system memory clear and re-initialise the memory
clearing everything in prder to get back into patch/edit mode. Its then fine
but has done it a couple of times.Howvever it's fine all the time you don't
move the sid or specifically the power connection.I guess a bit of bluetack
may help..has anyone else this problem....Ps i'm using the latest operating
system update...

best wishes,

ishq
