Ok. I admit that I haven't really messed with multi-trig mode all that much. There's too many other things to explore! But the few times that I have, I've been inclined to use split mode. However, I don't quite understand the manual's explanation of how it's supposed to work/what it's supposed to do. From my understanding, splitting the keyboard just means that one zone (say, below the split point) plays one sound and the other (above the split point) plays another. But on the MnM you only select one track when setting it up (and you can only select from FIVE tracks (NOT 6!)). This leads me to think that it's supposed to play the selected track after the split point and something else (which the manual doesn't state what that would be) before. Ok. So when I select split point "A-4" and track 4, I get the following results: 1) playing below A-4 plays all unmuted tracks (just like "ALL TRK" mode) 2) playing A-4 and above plays track 5 (NOT track 4!) Is it just me, or does this not seem right? For one, I would think the user would want to select which TWO tracks are to go above/below the split point. This is how my Nord works, for example. And two, why does choosing track 4 make track 5 the triggered track above the split point? And finally, why can we only choose up to 5 tracks instead of six? Am I greatly misunderstanding this feature, not using it correctly or is there just a major bug? Joe.
