But if parameter locks would be any useful, we needed to lock the kit, or it would just sound awful as the machine was changed. So we added the classic mode in which the kit would never change if you didn't explicitly do it yourself. Later we found that maybe it confused more people than it helped, although some people have found some interesting use for it like has been described in other posts. However, the most interesting is that someone just asked for it in the Monomachine a while ago in this list! He didn't use the term "classic" mode, but wanted the kits to stay, and not change when he changed the pattern. So it seems that some people like it after all... Daniel
