buying the MnM.
In the german keyboards-magazine, there was a pre-review of the
Monomachine. I do not know, if it is also published on the web.

I have them all, the MM, MD and SID and I do absolutely not think,
that the sound of the SID-Algorhytm is comparable with the real SID.
Beside the fact, that the SIDStation has an analogue filter there are
also not the same possiblities (Polyphony, TableSeq, LFOs aso). The
user-interface and the programming-workflow in the SID-Station is
something verry unique and it is not comparable to any other
instrument I own or I know. But of course, with the SID-Machine in
the MM you can emulate quite good some old video-games.

I think that the expression 'effect-sequencer' fits better to the
possiblities of the MM. I haven't worked out up to now some PolyKits.
I am working with it as a 6track MonoSynth Pattern-sequencing tool.
But my impression is clear: It does not have the energy, the warmness
and the soul of an analogue Synth. I have had NL2 and NL3 (from my
point of view, the NL2 sounds better anyway) and I know that they
have far more possiblities (and qualities) for sounds.... but of
course, if you calculate the Sequencer of the MM with it, so I would
recommend the MM anyway. Tweaking is verry fun with MM

I've made mostly electronic body music.... And I think that for this
genre, the MM fits verry good.

Hope, my impressions helps
