hi daniel,
this sounds complicated to me. i wish it would be more fun to do some 
nice changes on the os. however i think it should be no problem to 
find good reasons to update the os. i have read and written a few 
suggestions here along with others. but it would not make me happy 
when my sidstation or elektron loses mind.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
