hmmm.... very weird. I seem to recall this bug occuring for some a long
time ago; but I've heard nothing of it in quite a while.

try this:
- if your machine isn't new, then make sure that you have the most
recent OS by checking www.machinedrum.com; if not, then install that
- otherwise, try doing a factory reset (hold function at startup to
access the menu for it) and see if the problem still occurs; if so,
