question: does this occur when you copy the first trig in a pattern? one
that has been set with parameter locks using realtime recording? because
I noticed (yet I forgot to mention this in the bug list) that when I
realtime record something in the MD, the first trig has nearly all
of its parameters locked, whether I was changing them during the
recording or not. this gets to be quite annoying if I'm still tweaking
the overall sound of the track, as one note will have the old values
locked to it.

anyway, maybe this is related to the copy/paste error since you said
the copied note will reflect similar behavior...
