That's good for the sounds---but the sequencer/editor should be good, too. Ideally, you'd want something that you can enter realtime notes, undo mistakes (several levels!?!), swap patterns while recording, and give a visual representation of your data, and allow you do modify it visually (cut/paste/copy/move, adjust volume), etc. -N
