I hooked up the MnM via midi for the first time last week.  No 
problems with sync to MD - MnM as master.  Problem occurred when I 
hooked up sync to a windows based computer running sonar or pro audio 
(can't remember which).  I was simply recording the audio of the 
different tracks individually with midi sync.  When the computer was 
the master, the mono freaked out after about 6 bars and started 
playing random notes (the computer wasn't sending any MIDI except for 
transport).  Then I switched the computer to slave/MnM to master and 
the computer ended up stopping recording each time at ~1min due to 
some crazy error.  Rebooted and did all the typical troubleshooting 
stuff with both devices.  Both of these errors recurred each time.  
HOWEVER, at no time were the devices out of sync (MD was part of the 
loop the whole time - no problems with it.)

Bottom line, MnM likes to play alone.
