When midi clock is set on "external", sync of MM is incorrect and MM doesn't follow external tempo changes. Can anybody confirm this? Thx, Nik

Problem occurred when I hooked up sync to a windows based computer running sonar or pro audio (can't remember which). I was simply recording the audio of the different tracks individually with midi sync. When the computer was the master, the mono freaked out after about 6 bars and started playing random notes (the computer wasn't sending any MIDI except for transport). Then I switched the computer to slave/MnM to master and the computer ended up stopping recording each time at ~1min due to some crazy error. Rebooted and did all the typical troubleshooting stuff with both devices. Both of these errors recurred each time. HOWEVER, at no time were the devices out of sync (MD was part of the loop the whole time - no problems with it.) Bottom line, MnM likes to play alone.

Having problems syncing Monomachine from pro Tools. It works fine as a master for my Evolver or the way round with my evolver as the master but just doesn't like talking to Pro tools. Act very erraticly. Did you sort this out? --- In elektron-users@yahoogroups.com, "snmcur2000" <snmcur2000@y...> wrote:

I've got it running with the monomachine answering to my DAW as slave. Never had issues.... There are two configurations under which I've had it working, if it helps at all: - PowerBook, OS X 10.3.x running Logic Gold 6, sending clock to Monomachine via emagic EMI A62m's 1x1 MIDI - XP Pro Desktop running Samplitude 7, sending clock to Monomachine via Edirol UM880
